Lost Star Admits Farting on Airline Passenger
No, it wasn’t a drunken Matthew Fox or the guy who plays Hurley after a few burritos. So at least that was a plus for the guy who was flying to the US on Royal Airlines. You may be surprised to learn it was Evangeline Lilly (who played Kate) when she was a stewardess.
On Jay Leno last night, she spoke as she often did, about how much she hated being a flight attendant before she became famous. The Canadian actress, who’s ironically best known role was of a passenger onboard a jetliner that crashed, told Leno that she once farted on a passenger in order to get revenge for his onboard behavior.
According to Lilly, a male passenger was bothering her and being quite rude and she tried to be polite. She was also trying to hold back the blast from a gassy stomach that had been building up inside. Apparently, management frowns on their attendants farting in the cabin as you can imagine. And so she was probably in a quite a bit of pain by that point and this guy wasn’t helping at all. Finally, she couldn’t take his attitude anymore or the pressure building up and so she decided to kill two birds with one stone. She sashayed up the aisle, waited until she was right next to his face, and in the words of Leslie Nielsen, let ‘er rip, stinking him out big time.
Unfortunately, we can imagine that there was probably some collateral damage from the fallout with the close quarters and all, but then how many of us can say that we got farted on by Evangeline Lilly? I’m sure it left a lasting impression for someone out there.
Lilly is currently promoting her new film Real Steel where she plays opposite Hugh Jackman. The movie chronicles the fictional sport of robot boxers where inventors come up with huge mechanized fighters to battle in the ring, rather than the people themselves. Kind of like the live action version of Rock’m, Sock’m Robots, only way cooler.
