Virginia Moves In With Fred and Denies Knowledge of Murdered Wife In Barrel

Submitted by Jules on February 5, 2008 – 1:11 amNo Comment

23 years ago, Edwina Boyle went missing and Virginia Gissara moved in with Fred Boyle the next day. She expected Edwina to return home any day and ‘knew there would be words’. She claimed in court that she had had a row with her husband and had nowhere else to go. Jane Dixon, defending, asked Virginia if she recalled a conversation with the Boyle’s over wether she was acquainted with Raymond Edmonds, alias ‘Mr Stinky’, who raped and murdered during the 1960′s to the mid 1980′s in the state of Victoria. Virginia said, “no,” she did not recall a conversation of that nature. Edwina’s body had been found in a barrell which Fred kept at the bottom of the garden. He denies murdering his wife.
