Marry Or Else, Infer Pakistani Parents in Kent

Shafilea Ahmed was either strangled or smothered and her decomposing body found near the Kent River, 5 months after she was found missing from her home. Her fears were that her parents were going to force her into an arranged marriage and friends say that ‘she didn’t have much of a life’. After returning from Pakistan where she was introduced to a potential husband, she allegedly ‘drank bleach’ and was hospitalized on her return to the UK.
