Australian Flooding Threatens Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory
Posted In: General by Jules

Imminent flooding in Northern New South Wales, South-East Queensland and the Northern Territory has the Australian Federal Government on standby, ready to offer help.
Floods are still threatening Katherine after the cyclone, Helen, has caused widespread damage, flooding and black outs.
In Queensland, a cyclone threat was possible after a major clean up following days of rain and flooding. Floods that haven’t been seen for over 50 years are expected to isolate the towns based at the junction of the Tweed and Richmond Rivers.
