twins celebrate living to 100 years

In 1908, in Manchester, Betty and Jenny were delivered by the local doctor who arrived on horseback. The twins now live close together in Truro and say that they have so many memories that they wouldn’t change a thing, although the last world war was ‘horrible’. They grew up in Kent, married and are now widows. They do everything together and believe that it is necessary to keep going in life, to do things that are interesting and to always have a hobby. “There are lots of things to enjoy, the countryside and beauty everywhere. Live from day to day”, is their advice.
