9 men admitted to gang raping a ‘black kid’ in far Northern Queensland, Australia, and walked free today in December, 2007. This case goes all the way back to 2005 and the judge was quoted as saying, something she may well come to regret, that this 10 year old girl, “probably agreed to having sex with the group.” As you can imagine, all manner of community groups are up in arms over the issues that have been raised. In effect, group rape has been approved of, or smacked on the hand, and the fact that we have a child as the victim, completely overlooked.
