I Left My Gun in the Kitchen, but Fortunately, I’ve Got My Back-Up

On November 27^th, 2007, pro-footballer, Sean Taylor was shot dead by armed robbers during a home invasion. This prompted a flood of orders for the newly designed ‘Back Up’, a gun rack which fits onto the side of a double mattress. Made from polymer plastic, once installed, the shotgun sits unobtrusively under the doona cover.

“We’re not just selling to rednecks and country people,” CEO John Peters was quoted as saying, “ Around half our clients are women and I have sold some to a bank president.”
