Cannibal Poet Found Hanging In Cell
The unpublished novel, ‘Cannibal Instinct’ lay open on the floor. Jose Luis Calva, known as ‘the Cannibal Poet’ had written it some time ago and had been driven to act on the ideas contained within. He eked out a meager living by selling his writings on the street and decided that he would eat his girlfriend. He bought 3 limes thinking that to squeeze lime over human flesh would be a novel idea. That night he convinced her to allow him to pour the juice over her arm before strangling, hacking and frying her up.
He was discovered by police after neighbours reported a fetid smell coming from his apartment. They found Miss Galeana’s torso in his closet, a leg in the fridge and bones in a cereal box.
He tried to run, was hit by a car and finally managed to hang himself with a leather belt in his cell. Police have no idea how he got the belt.
