Playstation 3 sales picked up a little more

Submitted by blookman on August 27, 2007 – 2:12 pmNo Comment

With the holiday season picking up, so are the PS 3 sales as well. Recently, Playstation has picked up their sales compared to last year and earlier this year. Of course, they are always compared to Nintendo and Microsoft. The Nintendo Wii is still beating out everyone with console sales because they have top notch games and technology that everyone wants. Playstation is still beating Microsoft and their Xbox 360, but it is still getting beat by the Wii. Earlier this year, the PS3 was out sold by the Wii by 6 to 1, but for the past two months, it has become 3 to 1. This has caused Sony’s market share to rise a little and Nintendo’s to fall a little, but Nintendo is still on top. Sony hopes that this holiday season will bring higher sales since they have integrated the Blu-ray dvd player into their console. I guess all video game console manufacturers will have to get ready for this holiday season to see who wins the sales race!
